一类混合单调算子新的不动点定理及其应用

引入了广义Φ凹（-φ）凸算子这一概念,在非紧非连续条件下,得到了混合单调算子的几个新的不动点存在唯一性定理.最后给出了一个应用.     

二阶奇异微分方程组边值问题两个正解的存在性

利用锥拉伸和锥压缩不动点定理,给出了一类二阶微分方程组奇异边值问题两个正解的存在性.     

抽象二阶周期边值问题解的存在性

研究了有序Banach空间中二阶周期边值问题解的存在性,利用凸锥理论与上、下解方法,获得了解的存在性结果.     

Complete classification of spatial surfaces with parallel mean curvature vector in arbitrary non-flat pseudo-Riemannian space forms

Submanifolds with parallel mean curvature vector play important roles in differential geometry, theory of harmonic maps as well as in physics. Spatial surfaces in 4D Lorentzian space forms with parallel mean curvature vector were classified by B. Y. Chen and J. Van der Veken in [9]. Recently, spatial surfaces with parallel mean curvature vector in arbitrary pseudo-Euclidean spaces are also classified in [7]. In this article, we classify spatial surfaces with parallel mean curvature vector in pseudo-Riemannian spheres and pseudo-hyperbolic spaces with arbitrary codimension and arbitrary index. Consequently, we achieve the complete classification of spatial surfaces with parallel mean curvature vector in all pseudo-Riemannian space forms. As an immediate by-product, we obtain the complete classifications of spatial surfaces with parallel mean curvature vector in arbitrary Lorentzian space forms.      

Path-following interior point algorithms for the Cartesian <Emphasis Type="Italic">P</Emphasis><Subscript>*</Subscript>(κ)-LCP over symmetric cones

In this paper, we establish a theoretical framework of path-following interior point algorithms for the linear complementarity problems over symmetric cones (SCLCP) with the Cartesian P _*(κ)-property, a weaker condition than the monotonicity. Based on the Nesterov-Todd, xy and yx directions employed as commutative search directions for semidefinite programming, we extend the variants of the short-, semilong-, and long-step path-following algorithms for symmetric conic linear programming proposed by Schmieta and Alizadeh to the Cartesian P _*(κ)-SCLCP, and particularly show the global convergence and the iteration complexities of the proposed algorithms. Quantum-classical correspondence for motion on a plane with deficit angle

A particle constrained to move on a cone and bound to its tip by harmonic oscillator and Coulomb-Kepler potentials is considered both in the classical as well as in the quantum formulations. The SU(2) coherent states are formally derived for the former model and used for showing some relations between closed classical orbits and quantum probability densities. Similar relations are shown for the Coulomb-Kepler problem. In both cases a perfect localization of the densities on the classical solutions is obtained even for low values of quantum numbers.     

Common fixed points for four maps in cone metric spaces

The existence of coincidence points and common fixed points for four mappings satisfying generalized contractive conditions without exploiting the notion of continuity of any map involved therein, in a cone metric space is proved. These results extend, unify and generalize several well known comparable results in the existing literature.     

On Periodic Solutions of Linear Control Systems

We prove a theorem of the alternative concerning periodic solutions of linear control systems. We show that, if the attainable sets have nonempty interior, then the main condition assumed in Theorem 4.2 of Ref. 1 (a tangential condition) can be weakened and simplified, and a stronger conclusion can be obtained.     

Growth of certain harmonic functions in an n-dimensional cone

We give the growth properties of harmonic functions at infinity in a cone, which generalize the results obtained by Siegel-Talvila.     

Asymptotic exponential cones of Metzler matrices and their use in the solution of an algebraic problem

The aim of this paper is that of investigating the asymptotic exponential cone of a single Metzler matrix, introduced in [23], and of defining and analysing the new concept of asymptotic exponential cone of a family of Metzler matrices (along a certain direction). These results will provide necessary and/or sufficient conditions for the solvability of an interesting algebraic problem that arises in the context of continuous-time positive switched systems and, specifically, in the investigation of the reachability property [21,22,25].
